Who are we?

Lubuskie European Committee was founded in December 1998. A principal goal of our association is European education, aimed at the inhabitants of the Lubuskie region, as well as supporting all the actions of individuals, institutions and organizations that contribute to Poland’s integration with European Union.

From 1999 till 2012, Lubuskie European Committee, achieved its main objectives through its unit - Regional European Information Center in Zielona Góra. It was a point of European information which operates as a part of a European information network in the country.

Our main tasks are the following: promoting knowledge of the European Union and Poland’s membership in the Community, increasing the ability to effectively implement European funds in Lubuskie and preparing institutions and individuals for successful functioning in the European Union.

We are very proud of what we have achieved over many years of activity. We managed to collect a large library on European integration, which is one of the biggest in our region. We organized numerous workshops, lectures and conferences for few thousand residents of Lubuskie, coming from various target groups (students, teachers, entrepreneurs, farmers, librarians, police officers, etc..).
